Meet Coach JAson
EXPERIENCE. KNOWLEDGE. PASSION FOR THE GAME.
Jason Bilous has spent his life playing, learning, and teaching the game of baseball.
His journey began in Delaware, where he played Little League for Brandywine Little League and came close to reaching the Little League World Series. He continued through elite travel baseball with the Delaware Warriors and All-Star Baseball Academy, developing into one of the area’s standout young pitchers.
By high school, Jason was throwing 97 mph before undergoing Tommy John surgery his junior year. Despite the setback, the Los Angeles Dodgers selected him in the MLB Draft out of high school.
Jason chose to continue his development at Coastal Carolina University, where he became part of the Chanticleers’ historic 2016 season and helped the team win the College World Series National Championship.
In 2018, Jason was selected in the 13th round of the MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox. Over the next five seasons, he worked his way through the organization, reaching Triple-A and earning a spot on the team’s 40-man roster.
After being designated for assignment, Jason was claimed by the Cleveland Guardians, where he spent another season at the Triple-A level. He later continued his career in independent baseball and the Mexican League before eventually stepping away from professional baseball.
FROM PLAYER TO COACH
Jason’s playing career may have ended, but his passion for baseball never did.
He had always been someone who naturally noticed mechanical issues in other players and found ways to help them improve. Throughout his playing career, he regularly gave lessons during the off-season.
Over time, Jason realized how rewarding coaching could be, especially when he could identify what an individual player needed, make the right adjustments, and watch that player make real progress.
HIS GOAL IS SIMPLE
Help every athlete understand their game, develop their skills, and become the best version of themselves.
JASON’S COACHING PHILOSOPHY
DON’T CHANGE THE PLAYER. DEVELOP THE PLAYER.
Every athlete has different mechanics, strengths, weaknesses, goals, and challenges. Jason’s job is to identify what each player needs and give them the coaching, tools, and confidence to improve.
Because great coaching isn’t about making every player the same. It’s about helping each player become better.
Our mission is to forge athletes through hard work, individualized development, and a relentless drive to improve — helping every player become the best version of themselves while never losing sight of why we play- because we love the game.
